THE AMERICAN DREAM FEST

June is Homeownerhip month .We will discuss traditional homeownership opportunities and out of the box approaches and more! Stay tuned!

When:

June 2024

Where:

TBD

We will discuss Homeownership still being an achieveable dream!

Kella McCaskill will sit down with lenders and aspiring buyers to discuss the loan products and how collectively we can do more to help people purchase!

With a background in mortgage lending, underwriting, and compliance, I am passionate about finding innovative solutions to support aspiring homeowners in achieving the American Dream.

I would like to discuss is the development of a specialized loan product called the DREAM PATH HOME LOAN product. This product would feature a lower interest teaser rate, possibly even an interest-only option, for the initial 3 years, with a planned increase thereafter (e.g., after 3 or 5 years). Importantly, this product would come without pre-payment penalties, allowing homeowners the flexibility to refinance or sell their property as needed. The primary target audience for the HOPE product would be first-time homeowners, exclusively for purchase transactions, following the FHA waterfall.

Additionally, I am interested in exploring ways to enhance downpayment assistance programs. By considering options such as increasing the number of points a buyer can buy down, allowing gift funds, and expanding down payment assistance, we can collectively contribute to making homeownership more accessible.

I understand the importance of thoughtful consideration and review before committing to any new initiatives. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss these ideas further and explore potential avenues for collaboration. Your insights and expertise would be invaluable in shaping solutions that benefit both our organizations and, more importantly, the families we aim to serve.

If you are open to exploring these opportunities or have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me at 813-683-1221. I am enthusiastic about the prospect of working together to keep the hope of the American Dream alive for countless families.
